Kiehl's

Artwork I create last Summer for the flagship East Village Kiehl’s store in New York. This location is the original Kiehl’s location established in 1851. The artwork reflects the rich history of the location – I included images of the flagship store, 13th and 3rd sign (where it’s located), Pear Tree Corner where Peter Stuyvesant planted a pear tree in the 1600’s where there is still a tree to this day, 70s/80s punks and graffiti, bagels and cannoli, and references to Tompkins Square Park.
