It's also a fitting moment to celebrate the five single covers he created for tracks included on the album.

"It’s always a joy to see the fruition of a year’s work, especially when collaboration feels so fruitful. Working with Sam and Jalapeño Records is and has been a real pleasure, with that shared love of music and excitement of hearing a new track to shape images to, it really is a fine match," says Lee.

Each release has been what Lee calls an 'Album Character,' personifying the song, its feel, instruments, and rhythms. Two of the recent releases include What Would You Do?, in the form of a 7" single, which has a more urban feel. The imagery reflects that with a cityscape, car, and TVs. The other release features a unicorn, symbolising PRIDE. “I took a playful approach, which is very much in keeping with the tune’s origins. Pride was originally the theme tune Sam created for Joe Lycett’s show Late Night Lycett. It has now developed into a dance-floor anthem, with Joe’s blessing,” adds Lee.

Lee approached the album cover differently to set it apart from the single releases: "So I decided to work on the letters of the title—MODULATE—in an almost onomatopoeic way, or at least the letters making up the meaning of what Modulate means in music terms—consoles, plug-ins, music boxes, synths, and keyboards… all talking and connected to each other."
"]
