A Portrait for Melanie Sykes

Jacqueline Bissett shares lunch with TV and radio presenter Melanie Sykes with some drawing and banter thrown in.

Introduced by a mutual friend, Melanie Sykes visited Jacqueline at her studio to have her portrait drawn and to interview the fashion illustrator about her work. Jacqueline continues, "Initially I felt really nervous but she's SO down to earth and chatty, I soon felt at ease! I drew her portrait a couple of times as the line was a little shaky at first but she loved the end result so much she ordered one of my phone covers. Melanie then interviewed me over lunch at my lovely local gastropub, The Half Moon in Plumpton. Her questions were fun and unique, I've had several interviews over the years but she seemed to make me remember lots of details I'd long forgotten!" Read the interview here.
