A Night in Bethlehem

Gail Armstrong makes a nativity scene for an activity box set.

The paper sculpture has been used for a kit with CDs and activities and tells the story of the birth Jesus through interactive events and storytelling.  Gail has created a traditional nativity scene set against a buzzing bazaar populated by both traditional and modern day people; a night time setting where the stable glows in the foreground and rich, jewel colours give a warm, sumptuous and intimate feel.
