The Show Must Go On

The show must go on……as lockdown continues and the way that we work has changed for many, we need to think of new ways to connect to our audience and create meaningful and authentic content that make an impact and create new relationships with our audiences in these uncertain times.

AnimationX has seen an increase in enquiries and projects in the past few weeks from clients who have noted that animation is a sufficient antidote to the issues of isolation and imposed closures of business etc.

What can you do if the video shoot you had planned has now come to a grinding halt, commercials can’t be shot as they were, outdoor media won’t get the cut through (empty streets)….the remedy to this is animation, the beauty of animation is that you don’t need to find a location, hire an actor, make up artist, camera crew, lighting and other big production costs….all our animators are all working from home, working on some amazing projects and looking to help you make a connection with your audience.

Why Video?

It’s no secret that visuals—gifs, animations and video— significantly boost engagement within social media, now is the time to get creative and stand out in the crowd, millions of people are at home scrolling more than normal and looking to be connected with, the trick is to engage your audience and keep them engaged, your animated video needs to reach out and grab your viewers’ attention within the first 30 seconds of watching and then hold on it, capturing their interest and imagination.

One study found that when you pair images with information, “people retain 65% of the information three days later, as opposed to just 10% with text alone.” Another study by Insivia found that “viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video, versus 10% via text.”

Ok, so we can see that video makes a significant impact on your audiences engagement…so Why Animation?

Animation Keeps Your Viewer’s Attention

Everyone on the internet these days have short attention spans, we’re so use to constantly scrolling past content and will only spend a short amount of time on a video or an article. Animation awakens emotions in your viewers, whether they’re happy, sad, joyous or angry, animation has that ability to create meaningfulconversations between your brand and your audience and makes your audience want to follow the story.

Animation Simplifies Complex Topics

Animated video brings concepts to life that text or live videos can’t, such as this animation by Marvin Te HERE which demonstrates how dropshipping works in a simple and easy to understand fashion. It’s been proven that animated videos are more memorable and effective at delivering a message than words, they deliver your message in a fun and captivating way and immediately grab people’s attention, simplifying complex topics and deliver them in a light hearted and easily digestible fashion. With the help of animation, you can show how complicated mechanisms and processes work with ease.

Animation is Fun

It’s true, animation is fun and we could all do with a bit of light hearted distraction at the moment, animation has the ability to make even the  driest subjects fun, for example this animation by Lorica looks at Logic Gates the building blocks of digital technology in a fun and creative way. With animation you can do almost anything you dream of…there are no limitations so if you want to take your audience to deepest, darkest Peru or have a mango having a philosophical conversation with a plum then fine! We can make that happen…much harder to make happen without animation…
