Maine: The Adventure Guide

A series of interactive map illustrations by Li Zhang for Outside Magazine

Outside Magazine recently commissoned Li Zhang to create the illustrations for an fascinating interactive map in a feature that highlights all the wonderful outside activities that Maine has to offer, from hiking and paddle boarding to the best campsites and bike trails in the state.

Through the UI and via the spot illustrations for the map, the user is able to learn more about their culture and different outdoor activities. Li Zhang's lovely artwork illustrate the many different activities showcased across the map.
