Becca Thorne's linocut Illustrations adorn the labels of John Arbon Textiles.

John Arbon Textiles is a traditional spinning mill in Devon, and one of the few remaining in the UK that still operates with vintage machinery. Becca's work involved creating linocut spot illustrations for the skein labels of the Devon Naturals and Yarnadelic ranges.

Devon Naturals is an undyed collection, featuring wool sourced from local Devon flocks and showcases two distinctive breeds: the Exmoor Blueface and Zwartbles, both expressively drawn by Becca. And Yarnadelic, a vibrant range inspired by music, has each shade named after a different song. To represent the diverse musical genres and eras, a gramophone was chosen, spilling its melodies into the world!

Becca is illustrating the remaining ranges, so keep an eye out for more of her lovely artwork.
