Christmas Meets Halloween

Christmas and Halloween don't often share the same stage, but that was exactly the brief for Alison's commission. Created for 'Tis the Season to Be Scary, the artwork features a New England Christmas town reimagined for the spooky season, complete with a Christmas tree, a St. Bernard and a Jack Russell Terrier.

The cover accompanies the ninth book in Vicki Delany's cosy mystery series, which sees a Halloween fundraising gala take a dark turn.

Using a Halloween-inspired palette, Alison brings together festive charm and mystery in a scene full of seasonal character.
