Leah was asked to create the visual world for Earthly Below, Storybook Above, a district-wide project that threaded its way through streets, shopfronts and public spaces.
Working from a dreamlike botanical concept, Leah combined delicate linework with oversized blooms and imagined plant forms. The artwork appeared on bespoke signage for independent cafés, bakeries and galleries, while large-scale floral installations translated elements of the illustrations into physical structures throughout the town.
Moving between two-dimensional artwork and spatial design, the project turned everyday corners of Luxet Town into part of the exhibition itself.
