Anne Wilson illustrated a circular calendar for 2014, which was our first collaboration. The quality of the work from imaginative compositions to the digital finals was superior. Her professionalism shines: helpful, understanding, and she delivered the work early. All round she is wonderful to work with, a good listener and communicator with positive energy. Accommodating the nature of our content, the creatures are styled with a unique blend of personality and naturalism; the humans have dignity and serenity, while finely integrated to their scene. Since its arrival I've heard plenty of praise for this artwork. People move in close to examine the details, curious as to how she creates her art. We don't know exactly, but it works! The printer who for years has handled our calendar pointed out that this year's artwork is his favorite so far. The production artist was appreciative that the illustration files fit to the grid with its challenging spaces and curves, and that the files were provided in layers which was flexible to produce. We will want to work with Anne Wilson again.

We were most satisfied with Anne Wilson's work. We asked her to illustrate our book "Little Mouse's Summer Sounds" and her illustrations were just what we wanted. We loved her use of colours and the way she made personified the animals while keeping many of their natural features. Anne was a great person to work with.

From a partnership perspective I could not have asked for a more professional, patient and understanding illustrator than Anne. She took the time to understand the project and delivered illustrations way beyond my expectations. Not only is she a delight to work with but she is a wonderfully talented and sensitive illustrator who has a special gift of bringing emotion into her work. She has created some truly stunning art for this book which is bursting with colour and life. I am so proud of the finished work. If you are lucky enough to get the chance to work with Anne, grab it with both hands.

“We recently commissioned Anne for creating illustrations for a children’s activity guide for the Abu Dhabi Art Fair 2012. Anne really captured the spirit and style appropriate for the target audience and created a series of colourful, rich and inspiring illustrations that worked wonderful in the layout. Anne was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with that it was a real pleasure to work with her. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

The museum this year decided instead of using an image from our archive, to commission a new illustration for use in marketing our annual competition and exhibition, the Serco Prize for Illustration. We thought it would be nice to put the brief to a previous winner and Anne was an obvious choice having won with her popular River Thames illustration in 2011. This year’s theme was London Stories and we wanted an image that represented a variety of stories and one which could be used as a whole but also had extractable elements. Anne’s understanding and interpretation of the brief was fantastic, we couldn’t quite believe how quickly she came back to us with such detailed and complete ideas. The final illustration has proved very popular and was perfect for use in our marketing campaign. Anne is great to work with, very enthusiastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
