The Paninis of Pompeii is Out!

Egmont Books publish Andy Stanton's 'The Paninis of Pompeii' illustrated by the brilliant Sholto Walker.

The Paninis of Pompeii is the latest book from leading UK Children’s author Andy Stanton, the author of the hugely popular best-selling Mr. Gum series and the more recent Natboff. This book is set in ancient Pompeii, in the looming shadow of the volcano and follows the adventures of a ten-year-old Roman boy, Filius and his wealthy family. Sholto produced a cover artwork and some forty black and white illustrations for the book, he remarks, "Andy Stanton's writing is typically energetic and anarchic, with surreal plots and humour that appeals hugely to children - and many adults....the book became a real joy to work on, with Andy’s often direct input and attention to detail adding a truly inspiring perspective to the commission."
