Liquidity Stresses

Commissioned by EyeLanksbury Creative, Gail Armstrong creates a paper sculpture for BNY Mellon's magazine 'Aerial View'.

The American Bank BNY Mellon have used Gail's white papersculpture across their online marketing and for the cover of the latest issue of their magazine. The article outlines the disastrous effects Covid-19 has had on the American economy and some of the steps that the Federal Reserve has taken to bolster it through a new Money Market Mutual Fund Liquidity Facility, successfully unclogging the short-term debt markets and easing liquidity stresses. The image of water flowing from the Eccles Building, literally interprets this increased liquidity as it flows through the cogs of the money market and oils the wheels of industry.
