Anne Wilson on the WIA2022 Longlist

Anne's series of artworks are poignant pieces executed in book form which highlight the troubling human impact on the world.

Explaining the thoughts behind her developmental project she says, "We live in unsettling times. The world’s population continues to rise and as a result, squeeze out the natural world to make room for our continued development. These images have been created to help reflect on a link between our world that once was, and one that might come to be. It is a reflection on how humans are part of a bigger eco system that involves so much more than ourselves."
