This commission was to illustrate the feature Winter Light, celebrating the holiday season through personal memories shared by a small group of authors.

Using her loose black ink lines with soft washes of colour, Briana captures the warmth, spontaneity, and emotional rhythms of family traditions, festive joy, and seasonal chaos.

Each illustration reflects the individuality of the authors’ experiences while tying together a collective sense of nostalgia and celebration.
