Game Day Set

Studios at People Inc. and Pop-Tarts commission Mau Cardoso to design four illustrated cards.

Mau was invited by Studios at People Inc. for Pop-Tarts to develop a set of four illustrated player cards for People Magazine’s Instagram and Facebook.

The commission assigns each card a flavour tied to a U.S. region: East, South, Midwest and West so Mau built each composition from regional cues, drawing on local food traditions and the informal rituals of game-day 'serving' culture.

Each illustration folds product identity into these references, shaping them into a set of collectible, characterful cards.
