Louie’s Feelings

Shiane worked on Louie’s Colorful Feelings, a children’s book by Mariessa Shein that introduces young readers to emotions through the character of Louie the Dragon.

Instead of breathing fire, Louie breathes colourful clouds that reflect different feelings, helping children recognise, name, and understand emotions in a simple, playful way. Written for ages three to seven, the story focuses on emotional literacy, self-awareness, and empathy.

Alongside the picture book, a softcover colouring book edition is also available, giving children another way to engage with the story and its themes. Both editions are published in English and Spanish, making the project accessible to a wider audience.
