Created for Romanian organisation Asociatia Cu Ale Cuvinte, the illustrations accompany learning materials covering themes such as Romani identity, social inequality, neurodivergence, disability and family diversity - supporting teachers in tackling discrimination and encouraging inclusion in schools.
This second series builds on an earlier set of educational resources, continuing the programme's focus on equality by also challenging gender stereotypes through depictions of women and men in non-traditional professions.
Roma's organic use of mark-making gives each scene a sense of humanity.
