Graffiti was a big influence on Mark when he was growing up and working in 3D he has found a way of transferring the energy and exuberance of street art into his illustrations. He loves to push the boundaries, invent and evolve with every new brief – and his clients love it too.
Before he became a professional illustrator, Mark worked in marketing and advertising, which has given him an excellent grounding in how to answer a brief. Mark is fluent in English and German.
Traditionally trained, Mark sketches up his ideas to show his clients what he has in mind when he responds to a brief, and they love the way he solves problems and thinks of fresh and surprising ways to communicate their messages. He then brings the imagery to life in 3D using Cinema 4D – as still images or animations.
Loud, bold, fluid, elastic, humorous – Mark’s work pushes against the norm and frequently features engaging little characters.
