Arunachala Ashram Map

The brief asked for an illustration to capture the personality of the Ashram, something more focused on the subjective experience of the devotee than a traditional architectural plan. I used historical Indian map paintings as a starting point, where perspective and scale are used creatively to emphasise important physical and spiritual elements, which are framed by architectural details.
