This is a studio that eats, sleeps and drinks food imagery and not only do Food for Thought’s expert illustrators have a passion for everything delicious, they’ve got over 25 years’ experience creating tasty experiences for their clients.
Many of the world’s biggest food and drink brands entrust their projects to Food for Thought. Based in Manchester, Food for Thought’s illustrators are used to creating the perfect focal point to catch the consumer’s eye and with all their experience fully understand the requirements of packaging, point of sale and promotional material.

Approach

From glorious chocolates to perfect pieces of fruit and beautiful cakes, Food for Thought creates food imagery using the full range of modern digital techniques – 3D CGI, digital painting and photography all play a role. The onus is always on creating a visual result that meets the exacting needs of the studios highly discerning clients.

Styles

When it comes to rendering gorgeous food illustration, Food for Thought brings total realism… with a little bit extra. Tiny touches of moisture to make fruit look that bit more succulent, swirls of caramel that add sweetness to a dessert, carefully considered highlights and reflection – the results are mouth-watering.
