Ralph Lauren's latest 4 day event (17-21st May) saw Live Drawing superstar Jacqueline Bissett drawing guests as they networked, socialised and shopped.
The event kicked off on the Thursday evening with a styling masterclass from Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey, former Vogue retail editor and brand consultant who runs a blog- ginniech00 (www.vchstyle.com) Guests included fashion bloggers, fashion PRs and Ralph Lauren customers.
Jacqueline tells us a bit more about the event, "I sat sketching them (wearing a beautiful RL silk crochet top) as they sipped champagne and enjoyed delicious canapés. The live drawing event was digital, my iPad Pro was linked up to a huge screen so guests could watch as everything that I drew, immediately transferred onto the screen.
I spent the following 3 days working instore 11-7pm. It was a wonderful place to work and I managed to sketch many of their customers as they tried on Polo Ralph Lauren's latest collection.
Some customers purchased, merely after trying something on for me to sketch them- always nice to know the promotion has worked!"
The event was about social networking, guests were invited to share their illustrations and time lapses. To see more of the images and to play the time lapses visit Jacqueline's portfolio here.
