Based in London, Gabriella Mussurakis is a breakthrough young artist whose powerful, graphic compositions and deft eye for colour and shading bring a fresh new visual language to global fashion illustration. Her ability to capture the spirit of a designer’s seasonal collection is winning her leading clients in menswear, and she has developed a strong reputation in music and entertainment. Clients love the fact that she can add animation to her work for their social media campaigns.
Originally from Crete, Gabriella came to London to study Illustration and Visual Media at the University of the Arts. She’s remained in the city, inspired by its live music scene, and the extravagant outfits musicians wear on stage feed her love of fashion. She’s always on the lookout for unique men’s fashion designs, interesting patterns and fresh colour combinations to experiment with in her imagery.
With a background using traditional media, Gabriella combines charcoal, pencil, paint and other materials, bringing them together digitally to compose her unique-looking illustrations. She looks for strong poses, using big blocks of colour to come up with her bold compositions.
Gabriella’s powerful, graphical and colourful style makes an instant impact with viewers. She expertly uses contrast and/or clashing colours to draw your eye to the garments, which in turn create a unique persona within in each image.
Some of Gabriella’s clients include Adidas, Soho House, Lovebox, Global Teacher Prize, Universal Music and QSuper.
