L'expérience de Craig est un atout sur tout projet d'illustration scientifique ou médicale. Il a affiné ses connaissances cardiovasculaires en travaillant à l'Arizona Heart Institute pendant plusieurs années, puis a développé ses compétences en modélisation 3D et en animation en travaillant pour Time Life Medical sur de grands projets vidéo. Il est titulaire d'un BA en beaux-arts de l'Université du Michigan et d'une maîtrise en illustration médicale du Medical College of Georgia. En grandissant, Craig aimait l'art de l'aérographe, et les premières influences incluent Mark Fredrickson et Hajime Sorayama, ainsi que des illustrateurs fantastiques comme Roger Dean et Frank Frazetta.

Approche
