Paperface - Illustrateur et designer basé au Royaume-Uni

Travaillant dans un style graphique audacieux, Abi Langridge - AKA Paperface - crée des illustrations percutantes et expressives, mais légères et tout à fait charmantes. Sa formation en graphisme signifie qu'elle est habile à réduire l'encombrement et à s'assurer que le message principal touche à la maison en un instant, connaît son chemin dans un dossier d'agence et comprend le processus créatif.
Ayant grandi à Grantham, Abi est attirée par l'illustration depuis son enfance. Elle a obtenu un diplôme en design graphique de l'Université de Leeds, avant de travailler à Londres et à New York, avant de retourner au Royaume-Uni et de s'installer dans le Yorkshire. Son séjour aux États-Unis est une grande source d'inspiration, le paysage, la culture, les gens, la nourriture et la faune à travers le pays alimentant son travail personnel.

Approcher

Esquissant et travaillant numériquement, l'approche d'Abi s'appuie sur sa formation en graphisme. Elle utilise l'illustration pour communiquer, jamais pour décorer, et il s'agit toujours d'éliminer le bruit et de se concentrer sur le message et l'émotion de l'œuvre.

modes

Il y a deux fils principaux dans le portefeuille Paperface. Le premier est basé sur un travail au trait net et coloré, utilisant des formes graphiques fortes pour avoir un impact. Le deuxième style d'Abi révèle son amour de la texture alors qu'elle peint en coups de pinceau lâches, créant souvent des personnages dans des tons monotones et capturant toutes les nuances des cheveux et de la fourrure, du grain du bois, de la peau ridée et plus encore…
