Xinping Li - United States based illustrator

En utilisant des couleurs vives et des formes claires et audacieuses, Xinping Li crée des œuvres qui se nourrissent de simplicité – créant un impact, transmettant un message et évoquant un sentiment avec chaque image. Souvent, son travail est apaisant et rafraîchissant, transmettant une idée avec un léger sens de l'humour et, parfois, une touche de surréalisme.
Graphiste expérimentée, Xinping utilise souvent un motif ou une texture d'arrière-plan comme base d'une image, créant des points focaux plus lumineux au premier plan - employant parfois des superpositions intéressantes pour créer une profondeur qui trahit la simplicité de son approche. Ses clients aiment voir comment elle prend leurs idées et les transforme en visuels imaginatifs. Basée dans la région de la baie de San Francisco, Xinping est née en Chine et s'est inspirée à l'origine des anime et des mangas. Étudiante au City College puis à la San Francisco State University, elle s'est formée à divers médias traditionnels avant de passer au numérique. Ses influences incluent Hayao Miyazaki et Vincent van Gogh.

Approche

Les idées initiales sont esquissées sur un iPad dans Procreate, avec une palette limitée de trois couleurs maximum sélectionnées. L'image est peaufinée à mesure que Xinping travaille avec des pinceaux et des textures pour lui donner la bonne sensation générale.

Style
