Camila was commissioned by HarperCollins Brasil to create the cover for Camila Antunes’ latest romantic comedy, Mil Passos ao Sul, (A Thousand Steps South).

The illustration captures the humour and heart of protagonist Cássia Benedetti’s story, reflecting her quirky life, unexpected romance, and the mischievous quail that sets events in motion.

Through her thoughtful composition and lively character work, the cover transforms the novel’s themes of love, chance, and self-discovery into an engaging entry point for the story.
