Blacktop Bound

London-based illustrator Cat has been commissioned by Penguin Random House to design the covers for Lorelei James’s Blacktop Cowboys series, blending her comic-inspired line work with rich texture and storytelling.

Cat has created striking and contempoarary illustrations that reflect the rugged romance and emotional drive of James’ Western-romance world.

The covers not only anchor the books' identities but also deepen their appeal by giving the characters a confident, expressive presence that resonates with the series’ themes of grit and heart.
