Winter Watch

Andrew Hutchinson captures a snow-dusted Yorkshire scene for The Dalesman, supporting the lifesaving work of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Commissioned by The Dalesman magazine, Andrew latest painting brings the quiet poetry of a Yorkshire winter to the forefront, pairing realistic detail with gentle storytelling to honour the region’s landscape and community. Used as the December 2025 cover, the artwork sets a calm yet compelling tone, its soft light, rural architecture, and characterful sheep echoing the magazine’s deep-rooted connection to place.

Created in partnership with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Andrew’s piece goes beyond visual appeal: the original artwork is being raffled through the magazine, transforming his atmospheric scene into a fundraising catalyst for an essential local service.
