Chrissy Lau completes an Illustrator's dream; a collector's edition of stamps and souvenir sheets commissioned by Guernsey Post.
The design was to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Horse 2014 using Chrissy's signature style and patterns for many different valued stamps - the collection also includes an exquisite gold embossed sheet presented in a glass frame. Chrissy says "It was a real honour to research my Chinese heritage and create stamps with culturally significant designs...my father in law collects stamps so it was really nice to share the project with him." Knowing that her work has been before the eyes of Her Majesty the Queen for approval is pretty amazing too! The stamps can be purchased here.
