The Real Food Market

Liam O'Farrell paints a marvellous representation of The Real Food Market on the Southbank.

Liam has captured the lively and vibrant atmosphere of this part of London - specifically a food market tucked just behind The Royal Festival Hall. The commission came from a client who had worked in the area for many years and who wanted a permanent visual reminder. Liam says of the process "I wanted to attain intimacy without it all looking hemmed in. I wanted to get plenty of background without compromising the key subject matter in the foreground. A balancing act to be sure."
