Hiii Shortlist

Published in Figo Collective, the illustration accompanies a short story about a young boy and his family preparing his late father’s favourite food on the eve of a festival held in his memory. Oliver uses layered textures and colourful imagery to reflect the story’s themes of family, food and remembrance.

The shortlist recognises a piece that combines his eclectic visual approach with the emotional weight of the story, using illustration to support a personal tale centred on food and family.
