In The Food Hall

Makoon was asked to document the food hall on the basement floor through a series of illustrations. The project centres on the natural movement of people through the space, alongside the wide range of food and activity around them.

The main illustration takes in the food hall as a whole, while smaller supporting images focus on individual scenes and details. T

ogether, the images create a portrait of the everyday life of the space, from the flow of shoppers to the moments unfolding around the different food counters.
