From Beijing, With Love

The book follows Daniel, who travels from Amsterdam to Beijing after a breakup and an unexpected setback at work. What begins as an attempt to escape quickly turns into something more, as a tour of the Great Wall introduces him to Yang, a PhD student working as a tour guide.

Débora's romantic artwork centres on Daniel and Yang as they walk together along the Great Wall, reflecting the novel’s setting and the relationship at the heart of the story.
