Spinning Silver

Commissioned by Penguin Random House's Del Ray imprint for Naomi Novik's Spinning Silver, Studio Duco continues an ongoing series of interconnected cover designs.

The cover marks the third instalment in a series built around the same concept, following the approach established for The Summer War.

For Spinning Silver, Studio Duco transforms coins into architecture, combining silver pieces, a castle and Russian-inspired turrets within a single intricate image.

The image rewards a closer look - it's a thoughtful cover that brings together several strands of Naomi Novik's story through one carefully crafted idea.
