Kelli Laderer's Profile Photo

Vibrant colours, primal forms moving to the beat and a simple word or phrase – these are all the ingredients Kelli Laderer needs to conjure up an inspiring image that’s simply bursting with positive energy. Her bold impactful designs surprise and delight viewers, making Kelli the go-to illustrator for campaigns that stand out by brands that hold nothing back.
Inspired by concepts like self-belief, mindfulness, mental health awareness and nature, Kelli loves working with ethical organisations aiming for the greater good of communities and the planet. She enjoys collaborating with a diverse range of people, is easy going and just like her artwork Kelli has a dynamic attitude to every project she tackles. Based in New Orleans, Kelli has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which also covered graphic design and printmaking, from the Memphis College of Art.

Approach

A strong idea is central to Kelli’s approach. From there she devises an impactful design, often using a grid system alongside powerful, saturated colours that demand the viewer’s attention. Her artworks are executed using Procreate on her iPad Pro, but Kelli preserves the textures and imperfections of her printmaking background in her imagery to give it a unique, tactile quality.

Styles

‘Funky, fun and fresh’ is how Kelli describes her style and her bold shapes and colours are carefully crafted to inspire, motivate and impress.

Awards

2014 – Congressional Art Competition Winner
