Based in London, Season of Victory aka Linda Baritski, creates illustrations and designs exploring her love of color, pattern and type. She currently collaborate with lifestyle brands who have a similar appreciation for bold and playful imagery. Growing up in Japan and the U.S., Linda absorbed animation, art, colourful pattern design and graphics. Influences range from artists Tadanori Yokoo, Peter Max, and Patrick Caulfield to designers like The Memphis Group & Paula Scher. Prior to freelancing, Linda worked as an Art Director. She made the leap into freelancing full-time, giving her the opportunity to collaborate on exciting projects and further develop her style. Since then, Linda has collaborated with mass market and luxury brands creating illustrations and surface designs for homeware, installations, events, packaging, publishing, products and more. She’s interested in future collaborations with: beauty/cosmetics brands (limited edition packaging), large scale event & installations, limited edition food and drinks packaging, homeware, editorial, surface design and group shows. APPROACH All of Linda’s work is computer-generated. She begins with sketches and develops them from there, often using photos she’s taken for reference – particularly when it comes to colour palettes. STYLE Dynamic, optimistic, postmodern – Linda’s style explores with pattern, colour and type resulting in bold and playful imagery that often appeals to lifestyle brands.
