Keep the Fire, Chinese culture symbols of strength

Keep The Fire

Medium: Computer Generated

“Keep the fire” a piece about self reflection. In the Chinese culture the Carp/Koi Fish represents a symbol of strength, perseverance, and prosperity. Legend says that one Carp swam against a water current which resulted in it becoming a Dragon! The scales and whiskers of a Carp also resemble a Dragon. I’ve also selected to use lotus flowers because they’re able to rise above the mud and radiate.
