On Menstrual Health Day, humanitarian organization Plan International sheds light on the lack of access to menstrual products and the resulting burden, based on their research.

Using the stats -  1 in 4 menstruators have been forced to make the decision between purchasing period products and paying for other essentials – like food or rent, and Period products are NOT designer luxuries. They are necessities that should be accessible to all, but 82% of women who menstruate believe they are too expensive,  Alyah created concepts around the fact that access to period products is a right, not a luxury, in a playful yet educational approach,
