Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Liam O'Farrell paints the Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium.

A passionate Spurs fan commissioned Liam for this narrative watercolour, showing the older buildings in the foreground, which have all seen a variety of emotions as the fans enter and exit. Liam worked on site and in the cold for a day to sketch and meet the locals. As with all his architectural commissions, the people who live nearby and visit the buildings are as important. He says " The final watercolour was completed with the help of the client supplying a few images and the crucial research on what types of shirts needed to be worn by the fans and what names needed to be on them....although I am not a Spurs fan, I enjoyed spending the best part of a day there and getting to know a few locals and sharing their memories of past triumphs."
