Pathways into Children's Publishing

Alice was joined by 40 mentees at the recent talk which formed part of the students' foundation week as they embarked on a two year course run by Pop Up.

Alice explains, "It was aimed at the handful of successful students within underrepresented minority groups within the UK, starting out in or progressing with their professional careers as children’s illustrators, some moving into children’s publishing from prior industry experience and also for some starting out as illustrators all together. Pop Up is a successfully funded amazing organisation running this brilliant educational program which will pull together so much knowledge, expertise and excellent organisation from high end professionals within education, publishing and universities to name a few areas involved."
