When Moon Blooms

Caribay M. Benavides is 'over the moon' to share the first of three stories illustrated by herself and written by Aida Salazar.

Published by Rise x Penguin Workshop Books, the story is derived from Mexican Indigenous wisdom and is a poetic board book aimed at young children.

Injecting her playful and positive style of working into the art, Caribay is very excited to introduce the world to the main character Cielo as part of this lyrical series which invites young children to pay witness to nature, to value it, and to become a steward of the planet.
