For the May 2025 issue of Ciência Hoje das Crianças, Evandro was commissioned to create a warm, narrative-driven cover exploring the concept of housing across different cultures.
Inspired by the theme of shelter as a fundamental right, Evandro's artwork features three children returning to their respective homes: an urban apartment block, a traditional Yanomami shabono, and a snowbound Inuit igloo. The illustration evokes the quiet magic of twilight and the universal comfort of coming home - underscoring the article's exploration of architectural diversity and human commonality.
As Brazil’s oldest science magazine for children, CHC continues to engage over 60,000 public schools each month with accessible, thoughtful content.
