The Blue Plate Earns Major Award Recognition

Illustrated by Liam O'Farrell, this James Beard Award Finalist explores the intersection of food, climate, and advocacy.

'The Blue Plate: A Food Lover’s Guide to Climate Chaos', illustrated by Liam O’Farrell, has been named a finalist in the prestigious James Beard Media Awards in the “Food Issues and Advocacy” category. Authored by ecologist Mark J. Easter and published by Patagonia Books, the title also stands as a finalist for both the Colorado Book Awards and the IBPA Independent Book Awards, further cementing its impact.

Liam's evocative illustrations are an integral part of the book’s appeal, helping translate complex environmental issues into accessible, engaging visuals.
