Rise of the Reds

Cat was commissioned to create a centrepiece comic-style artwork for Manchester United’s new exhibition, Watch Us Rise, at Old Trafford’s museum. 

Using her bold, expressive style, Cat crafted a fictionalised comic walk-through featuring illustrated characters—while staying true to the real events, milestones, and spirit of the women’s team’s five-decade journey, from amateur beginnings in 1977 to professional success today.

The illustrated piece captures the passion, perseverance, and progress of the trailblazing players who shaped the club’s hidden history.

Full of color, energy, and character, the work invites visitors to experience this empowering story as they explore memorabilia, kits, trophies, and personal anecdotes throughout the exhibit.
