For the first-ever print edition of Revista PublishNews, Ing was commissioned to create a cover that celebrates Rio de Janeiro not just as a beachside icon, but as the beating heart of Brazil’s literary future.
Released for the Bienal do Livro do Rio de Janeiro, the cover transforms the city's famous shoreline into a playground for readers - where even a surfer, a cyclist, and a sunbather can’t resist a good book. At the top, a plane soars past declaring “Rio, world capital of books”, nodding to UNESCO’s title and this year’s biennial theme.
Packed with witty visual easter eggs and saturated in summer energy, Ing's work bridges art, culture, and publishing in a piece that feels both celebratory and intentional.
