A Rã na Correnteza Hops Off the Page

Evandro Marenda's self-authored and illustrated tale of frogs, fantasy, and familial warmth, is launched to a packed crowd in Curitiba.

Evandro combines storytelling and illustration in A Rã na Correnteza, a whimsical new release from Bacuri Editora.

Officially launched at the Paraná Public Library to a crowd of over 500 attendees, the book introduces young readers to Professor Telmatobius - affectionately known as Uncle Neco - who pens a magical letter to his nieces and nephews about a remarkable species: the Tie Frog, a creature that carries a spool of thread on its back.

Evandro’s delicate illustrations flow with warmth and movement, echoing the adventurous current of the story itself. Blending imaginative science with emotional storytelling, this charming picture book invites readers to to see nature through a lens of curiosity, creativity, and gentle wonder.
