Claire was commissioned by Hillingdon Hospital to inject a human touch into a traditionally functional format — wayfinding maps.
Designed for cyclists and pedestrians traveling from a 15–25 minute radius, the maps guide visitors to the hospital with pinpoint navigational accuracy while elevating the user experience through carefully illustrated details. Schools, parks, shops and other recognisable landmarks dot the route, turning a practical guide into a friendly companion.
With her signature linework and clean compositions, Claire transforms directional mapping into something personal, accessible and visually engaging - a clear example of illustration meeting community need.
