Mapping Made Clear

For the University of Sussex’s open day, Claire was tasked with transforming a pre-exising, design-heavy campus map into one that feels intuitive, welcoming, and visually engaging.

By incorporating clear routes, recognisable landmarks, and subtle nods to Basil Spence’s iconic brutalist architecture, she brought both clarity and character to the campus layout.

The result is a map that not only guides visitors effortlessly but also reflects the unique spirit of the university,  a detail praised in the overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees.
