Revealing a Greener Future

Philippines-based artist Alyssa brought a sense of warmth and imagination to ISTA’s main office in Essen, Germany, with a mural that literally peels back the wall to reveal a thriving European city.

Commissioned to create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike, she depicted a harmonious blend of old, modern, and futuristic architecture, dotted with tiny details that nod to ISTA’s own building and ethos. Characters gaze with hope and excitement towards the unfolding scene, a visual metaphor for the company’s mission to build climate-friendly, safe, and comfortable spaces.

Using a limited palette of muted greens and teals with visible brushstrokes, Alyssa crafted an inviting, painterly atmosphere that runs through the entrance, corridors, and garage, making the office feel both human and inspiring.
