Coalescence

The commission reunited Sarah with Yohan Choi, following an earlier collaboration on an NFT series. For this project, she was asked to create a promotional image for the series that conveyed the relationship between its two lead characters without showing their faces or likenesses. Working from a script outline rather than finished footage, Sarah developed Coalescence, an image that drew on the story while avoiding direct portraiture.

Created in mixed media on marine plywood, the artwork will be released as a limited-edition print of 50 copies for fans of the show.
